Welcome to the TNT parent’s Update. Here is what your crews are getting into this week.
RED CREW: LAST WEEK: Red went back to continue the work they started in a Mt. Hood Wilderness Area!
NEXT WEEK: Red crew will continue their work on Mt. Hood.
YELLOW CREW: LAST WEEK: Yellow went into the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness and pounded out a beautiful reroute.
NEXT WEEK: Yellow will be working with the Nature Conservancy by pulling False Dandelion and Sword Fern out on the Oregon coast!
ORANGE CREW: LAST WEEK: Orange crew picked up where Yellow crew left off working on brushing the area below power lines in the McKenzie River Corridor.
NEXT WEEK: Orange crew will be heading to the Columbia River Gorge to do some work at an Environmental education center.
BLUE CREW: LAST WEEK: LAST WEEK: Blue Crew went back to Mt. Hood! They continued logging out trails and working on more trail maintenance.
NEXT WEEK: Blue will be continuing their work on Mt. Hood.
Weekend Site Information
Weekend of 8/12-8/14 is NOT a Parent’s Weekend.
This is their last weekend before graduation and they will be spending their time relaxing with their crews and team-building activities.
Next Weekend Information
TNT GRADUATION will be at Northwest Youth Corps headquarters on Saturday, August 20that 11 AM. Please come to share in the success story of this session.
