Community Supported Agriculture

This year the LVEF will once again be offering CSA shares of our garden. The shares will cost $275.00 each and run from June until Oct. 15. Pick-up will be Wednesday afternoons. Each box of scrumptious goodies will contain about 15lbs of fresh organic seasonal produce. Tomatoes and melons and basil, OH MY!

The Farm Stand

Our new Farm Stand will be open Wednesdays from 12-6pm June-October. Offering fresh from the field Organic produce

YouthGrow Summer Camp

Giving youth a chance to grow! Come be part of the growing fun! Youth ages 9-13 will learn about farming, nature and nutrition during a three week summer camp. Youth will help maintain the garden, go on educational field trips and help the community by working at School Garden Project and Community Gardens.

Gardening Workshops - March 7th, May 9th 10am-2pm

Workshops for the community:

• March 7th, "Plant propagation - Make more of me and spread me out as far as I can go" - Learn how to plant seeds, make cuttings, create soil mixes and more.
• May 9th, "Getting down and dirty with soils" - fertility, composting and soil building, $10.00 to cover materials and lunch.

LVEF Volunteer Day - March 21st 11am-5pm

Be a part of the fun! Come enjoy a spring day on the farm. We will be sowing seed, making compost and preparing our garden for the spring/summer season.

Plant Sale - May 16th

Come check out our heirloom tomatoes, peppers, strawberry plants, flowers and more!
